Coleman grew up in Wallburg, NC, a small town nestled in the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina. From a young age, he developed a love for fishing, starting with surf fishing trips alongside his grandpa on the beaches of NC. Coleman spent his childhood fishing, wakeboarding, wake surfing, and boating on nearby lakes, creating countless memories with his family. Some of his favorite early experiences included small charter trips with his dad, where they caught Spanish mackerel, flounder, and trout.

An athlete at heart, Coleman was active in sports from the age of five through high school, excelling in baseball, track, and football. His dedication earned him a full athletic scholarship to Coastal Carolina University, where he played football from 2018 to 2022. It was during his time at Coastal Carolina that Coleman discovered his true passion: fishing.

After graduating in 2022, Coleman pursued his dream of becoming a captain, earning his OUPV captain’s license in January 2023. He has since gained valuable experience on the water, working alongside seasoned professionals to refine his skills. With a competitive spirit forged on the football field, Coleman is ready to bring that same drive and dedication to every fishing adventure, ensuring an unforgettable experience for his clients.
